​​​Intra-school sport

The number of people at a venue is determined by the Roadmap.​ If parents plan to attend intra-school sport activities, they must seek prior approval from their child’s school and follow all school operational requirements.

Inter-school sport

All sport events must be conducted in accordance with the Roadmap.

Representative school sport

What contact and non-contact activities are permitted for each sport?

Contact and non-contact activities may be permitted. While there may not be any physical distancing requirements on the ‘field of play’ for specific sports, how events are conducted will be determined by the Queensland Government’s Roadmap at any given point in time. Each indiv​idual sport event be required to follow the specific advice from Queensland’s Chief Health Officer as it relates to the not only the Local Government Areas in which the event is being held, but also considering where attending staff, students and families may be travelling from.
