A service award is an honour bestowed on an individual for contributions they have made within the statewide representative school sport program in a particular sport.
Eligibility
The nominee must have contributed service in one or more of the following roles:
- QRSS state event convenor / state event key official
- QRSS regional team official attending a state event
- QRSS team official
- QRSS sport executive member
- National event convenor / national event key official
- National team official
- SSA national sport advisor
Length of service
- Contributions should be evident over chronological years within the one sport and awarded in increments of 5 years. Note: all eligible roles performed in the one calendar year contribute towards one year of service.
